But winning some new toys is not what I am most thankful for (although, they did VERY quickly become my favorite toys. Yes, Lilo the pug is part of the winning photo. No, I did not share the prizes. #IDontCareIfIDontShare). I am most thankful that because our photo won, a pet shelter/ rescue of our choice received a box of toys, as well! We, of course, chose Pooches in Pines to receive some new toys. (If you don't know much about Pooches in Pines, click here to read my post about them). I love the Quaker Pet Group Pet of the Month Contest, especially because regardless of who wins, it helps to pay it forward to pets in need; and for that, I am VERY thankful.
PS - here are some photos of
us me enjoying the AMAZING toys that Quaker Pet Group sent to us. No, really, they are some really high quality, super-fun toys. Check it out:
Obligatory pose with Lilo the Pug and
my our winnings.
Lilo the pug asked if she could borrow my flying pig toy. I told her she could; when pigs fly.
These are the best. Toys. EVER.
